RMRF is pleased to announced that associate Greg Weber was recently cited by the Supreme Court of Canada.
In the July 2020 decision Atlantic Lottery Corp Inc v Babstock 2020 SCC 19, the majority decision written by Justice Russell Brown twice cites Greg’s paper Waiver of Tort: Disgorgement Ex Nihilo.
The paper was published by the Queen’s Law Journal in 2014 when Greg was clerking at the Court of King’s Bench prior to joining RMRF as a student-at-law.
Congratulations to Greg on this achievement, and on contributing to the evolution of tort law in Canada!
