Before completing her articles with Reynolds Mirth, Moira clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal.
She previously worked as a summer student with the Aboriginal Law Team at Alberta Justice and as an intern with the Alberta Utilities Commission while completing her J.D. at the University of Alberta. She also served on the Editorial Board of the Alberta Law Review, participated in the Kawaskimhon National Aboriginal Moot, worked as a writing fellow for the Legal Research and Writing Program, and was contracted to advise Indigenous Services Canada on development of a child welfare law for a local First Nation.
Prior to law school, Moira served as the Director of Policy in the Office of the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, and as Consultation Policy Coordinator in the Aboriginal Consultation Office with the Government of Alberta.
