Ben is a life-long learner, with a particular interest in municipal, administrative, and other types of public law.

Before starting his articles at Reynolds Mirth, Ben clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal. He previously worked as a summer student with Alberta Justice’s Central Services Team and Energy Law Team while completing his J.D. at the University of Alberta. In addition to his degrees, Ben earned a Certificate in Interdisciplinary Leadership from the University of Alberta’s Peter Lougheed Leadership College in 2017.

He has received numerous awards and accolades for academics and leadership and was the valedictorian of his law school graduating class.

Ben is an avid runner and his other interests include keeping up with politics and current events and spending time at his family’s cabin.
