Malika earned a Bachelor of Arts, Human Geography with Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Alberta and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. During law school, Malika was the President of the Sports & Wellness division from 2024-2025, and the President of the Mental Health and Wellness Committee in the 2025-2026 year.
Her hobbies include working on her family ranch, participating in Reined Cowhorse competitions, hiking, cooking and reading.
