Mitchell holds a J.D. (with distinction) from the University of Alberta and a B.A. in Criminology (with distinction) from the University of Alberta.
Mitchell completed his articles with Reynolds Mirth in the summer of 2022. He previously worked with Reynolds Mirth as a summer student during his first year of law school. Mitchell was also a summer student at PCL Construction, where he worked alongside the in-house counsel of PCL’s North American Headquarters on a variety of legal matters related to projects across Canada and the United States.
He has emerging interests in a number of areas including construction law, employment law, administrative law, civil litigation, and human rights matters. Beyond law, Mitchell has an extensive work history with non-profit and charitable organizations in the Edmonton area. As an engaged community member, Mitchell has also volunteered his time with Student Legal Services.
Outside of work, Mitchell enjoys travelling, coffee and playing a number of sports such as hockey, golf, and soccer.
