Thank you to the over 365 delegates who attended our 2019 Municipal Law Seminars!

This year marked Reynolds Mirth Richards & Farmer’s:

• 34^th Annual Central Municipal Law Seminar in Edmonton;
• 24^th Annual Northern Municipal Law Seminar in Grande Prairie; and
• 11^th Annual Southern Municipal Law Seminar in Airdrie.

Our annual seminars allow us to provide insight from our industry leaders on timely matters facing municipalities in Alberta. They also allow us to connect with our clients. We always appreciate and enjoy discussing the interesting challenges they face and their communities’ successes. But we equally enjoy the opportunity to visit and strengthen the relationships we value so much.

This year, 27 lawyers from our firm participated in our seminars. Our presenters spoke on a variety of topics, including challenges and pitfalls in issuing RFPs and recent developments in the law that have serious effects for municipalities respecting their status as creditors for linear taxes.

Over the course of our seminars, the RMRF team:

• Traveled over 1,450 kms;
• Presented for a total of nearly 24 hours; and
• Reached over 365 delegates.
