Rielle has a civil litigation practice focused on labour and employment and administrative law.

Rielle regularly advises and represents employers and employees in a broad range of matters including reviewing and drafting employment agreements and policies and advising on workplace issues, discipline and termination, wrongful dismissal claims, human rights complaints, and restrictive covenant disputes. Rielle has also assisted unionized employers with collective bargaining and grievance arbitrations.

Rielle has acted for clients in matters involving a wide range of boards and tribunals, including the Environmental Appeals Board, the Safety Codes Council, and professional regulatory tribunals. She also acts for clients in general civil litigation matters in the Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench.

Rielle remains actively involved in legal education and the broader community. She coaches a national moot at the University of Alberta and regularly presents to clients and community groups on topics connected to her practice. She also volunteers as a director on the board of one of Alberta’s largest social services agencies, contributing her governance perspective and legal experience in support of its work.

Outside of her practice, Rielle enjoys reading, knitting, and dancing with her alumni tap group.
