We are pleased to announce that partner Randy McCreary has been appointed Queen’s Counsel.

He became a member and elected to the board of the Certified Fraud Examiners Association and later became president of the Edmonton Chapter. He attained his CFE designation in 1996.
Randy’s practice primarily focuses on energy regulatory law, acting on behalf and for the benefit of the Office of the Utilities Consumer Advocate. He has represented the UCA and its mandated constituents since the UCA’s inception in 2003 and has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Outside of his law practice Randy is a regular lecturer and is committed to lending his expertise to the next generation of lawyers. He has taught LESA and Bar Admission courses and over the years has worked with and trained numerous junior lawyers in the areas of creditors’ rights and remedies, commercial lending, and commercial leasing.
